Poarch Law attorney, Rachel Thompson, will be presenting at St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, July 26 in Waynesboro, Virginia. A Charlottesville-based organization entitled “Sin Barreras” will be sponsoring the event.

Sin Barreras reaches out the Hispanic community in Charlottesville and beyond. The presentation will include remedies for children and victims of abuse.

The June/July 2013 Virginia Lawyer magazine recently published Christine Poarch’s article on the importance of agency collaboration in preventing the unauthorized practice of law.

The Virginia Lawyer magazine is one of the official publications of the Virginia State Bar and is distributed to lawyers, judges, general subscribers, law libraries, other state bar associations, and the media.

Christine Poarch will be giving a presentation at the Roanoke City Division of Social Services on July 17, 2013.

She will lecture on an overview of immigration law and what options are available to immigrants in need – especially young immigrants and those who have been the victims of abuse.
